Some good titles on this list mixed in with titles unknown to me (I suspect some are more mainstream fiction than crime fiction). I’m reading DIE FAMOUS by Michael Koryta right now and I really liked A PAST WITHOUT PICTURES by Jonathan Ames. A VIOLENT MASTERPIECE by Jordan Harper has gotten excellent reviews and I suspect will be on a lot of best of the year lists.
