One Can Dream

I suspect that if you are looking at this post that you are a bookaholic like me. I am blessed with a wonderful library (with too many books and not enough shelves) and should be satisfied. That is, until I see a photo like this that just feeds my addiction.

The library pictured above belonged to Dr. Richar Macksey, a Johns Hopkins professor of humanities in Baltimore.

A book collector, polyglot and scholar of comparative literature, Macksey died in 2019.
“My dad liked nothing better than sharing his love of books and literature with others,” Macksey’s son said. “He’d be delighted that his library lives on through this photo.”
