Editor’s comment: Three of the 16 picked 2020 titles which doesn’t fit the title of the deadgood post “Best of 2021.” I guess some of the authors thought that the site wanted the best crime novel that they read in 2021, not the best 2021 title that they read in 2021. It’s interesting that Gillian McAllister chose Gytha Lodge’s book and Gytha Lodge chose Gillian McAllister’s book. Hmmm.
