I gravitate more to her Best Crime Thrillers list, which contain some of the most critically acclaimed crime novels (in my opinion, not “thrillers”) of the year. By sheer coincidence, Rachel attended the same university that I did (BYU) and lives about 25 minutes from where I live in the same town that two of my sons live in. I’m sure that we will meet someday after the pandemic.
