Since I haven’t been posting on the website for the past little while, some people are wondering if I’m o.k. I am. Just went for my annual physical last month and when the doctor looked at my vital signs he commented that they were “boring.” Boring is good. I feel fine and I am still reading my 10 mysteries a month (64 so far this year). I walk at least a mile every morning and am in general good health — just don’t have as much energy as I used to — but that is to be expected at my age. I just took a break from posting for awhile. Lot going on in my personal life, not the least of which is the birth of a new grandson — Brooks Easter — born June 14, 2026. Mother and child doing well.

I haven’t posted the amazon editors’ best mysteries and thrillers list for the last two months because I’ve become disenchanted with the recent lists. New people have taken over the job at amazon and they are missing so many really good books to recommend. I’m going to write up my feelings about this in an article for the next issue. And speaking of the next issue I am announcing now that it will be a little late because my wife booked an Alaskan cruise at the beginning of August without consulting me for my DP publication schedule. Issue 112 would normally be due August 9th, but I’ll still be on the boat then and won’t get home until August 14th. I’ll do as much of the issue as possible before I leave so I won’t have too much to do when I get back. As we get closer to August I’ll let you know when to expect the next issue.
Will start posting more in the next few days. Thanks for your patience. Geo
