I guess I shouldn’t be surprised that a site called “she reads” would have a bias towards female writers. At least this list has a couple of token male writers (who’ve written terrific books, I might add). A good list, but incomplete — just like the Globe and Mail list. Maybe these critics don’t read the likes of Michael Connelly, Richard Osman, Ian Rankin, Don Winslow, Benjamin Stevenson, Alex Michaelides and Riley Sager — to mention a few. I guess reading a thriller by Mark Greaney would give them the “vapors.”
