Alex Segura’s SECRET IDENTITY wins L.A. Times Book Prize

I’m pleased to announce that Alex Segura has won the Los Angeles Times Book Prize in the Mystery\Thriller category for SECRET IDENTITY. Congratulations to Alex. It should be noted that SECRET IDENTITY is also nominated for this year’s Best Mystery Barry Award.

Other nominees for the LA Times Book Prize are:

Rachel Howzell Hall, WE LIE HERE

Laurie R. King, BACK TO THE GARDEN

Tracey Lien, ALL THAT’S LEFT UNSAID

Peng Shepherd, THE CARTOGRAPHERS

I know that Oline Cogdill (on our Barry Award nomination committee) will be happy. These are among her favorite books of last year.
