Here’s a critic whom I pay a lot of attention to. She has great taste in crime fiction. However, I’ll agree to disagree with her over THE DEVIL TAKES YOU HOME by Gabino Iglesias. In her commentary on it she is accurate in describing its strengths and pitfalls. She liked it. I thought it was awful. Just goes to show that two people with similar tastes can occasionally come to vastly different opinions about a book.
