Sequel to Soren Sveistrup’s THE CHESTNUT MAN Announced

Back in 2020 we awarded THE CHESTNUT MAN by Soren Sveistrup The Barry Award for Best First Mystery of 2019. It was a memorable book for me. It was later made into an excellent Netflix series. Then nothing… no follow-up. I was disappointed because I liked THE CHESTNUT MAN so much. (I’m looking at my signed, limited edition right now.)

I just got notice that a sequel featuring the same detectives, Naia Thulen and Mark Hess, will be published by Harper next July in the U.S. under the name HIDE AND SEEK.

For those fans who can’t wait until July, the British edition from Michael Joseph is coming out March 26, 2026.

Can’t wait to read this one.
