Best Crime Novels of 2022

From the Crime Time Christmas Debate (a podcast) in which eminent critic Barry Forshaw chaired a panel of top critics and writers: Laura Wilson (Guardian critic, novelist) , Maxim Jakubowski (editor, publisher, writer, bookseller), Jake Kerridge (crime fiction critic for the Telegraph), Ayo Onatade (critic ShotsBlog) Victoria Selman (novelist and Crime Time presenter) and Paul Burke.(who writes for Crime Time, Crime Fiction Lover and the European Fiction Network). Not only did they talk about their favorites from 2022, but also about 2023 titles that they are looking forward to. I already posted “best” lists from Barry Forshaw (Financial Times), Jake Kerridge, Maxim Jakubowski and Laura Wilson, but interestingly enough some of them brought up some books other than those posted previously.
