Comment: Where are the male mystery\thriller writers? Surely a man has written an outstanding mystery in 2022! How about Richard Osman, Don Winslow, Mick Herron, Anthony Horowitz, Michael Connelly? Surely they wrote better books than MAGIC, LIES AND DEADLY PIES by Misha Popp. Just sayin’.

I did like KILLERS OF A CERTAIN AGE and SHUTTER, the only two on the list that I have read. My criticism isn’t so much as to the books on the list as to the books (and kind of authors) not on the list.
