Editor’s Comments: 20 titles, 15 by female authors. I’m usually overbalanced on the male author side, so fair’s fair. Still a pretty good list, as amazon’s yearly best lists usually are. I’ve read 7 of the titles and am reading 2 more right now. I was glad to see Matt Goldman’s CAROLINA MOONSET on the list – an underrated title by an underrated author. The first three of the titles on this list are also on my personal best of the year list.
