I’d be remiss if I didn’t publicly congratulate Jeff Popple and his beautiful bride Kathy on their recent wedding. What an attractive couple! It is my understanding that they both plan to attend Bouchercon in New Orleans if Covid travel restrictions are lifted by late August (they should be). Even though Jeff has been reviewing for Deadly Pleasures for many, many years (how do you keep looking so young?) it wasn’t until the recent Bouchercon in Dallas, Texas that we met in person (he lives in Australia). That was a major highlight of the convention for me. Jeff is really an impressive person. I look forward to meeting his new bride later this year.

Now for the important question. Does Kathy know how much time Jeff spends reading and writing? I suspect that she does. I hope that she is a reader or has a time-consuming hobby to occupy herself while Jeff has a nose stuck in a book.
