CWA Dagger Shortlists 2020

Editor’s comments: Good lists this year. I’ve actually read several of them for a change. NOVEMBER ROAD won our Barry Best Novel Award last year and is nominated for the Barry Best Novel of the Decade Award this year. Great book. I also enjoyed very much Abir Mukherjee’s DEATH IN THE EAST, Michael Robotham’s GOOD GIRL, BAD GIRL, A.A. Dhand’s ONE WAY OUT, Trevor Wood’s THE MAN ON THE STREET and of course, Hannelore Cayre’s THE GODMOTHER. I’m saving METROPOLIS by Philip Kerr (also nominated this year for a Barry Best Novel award) for a special time to read.
