Barry Award Nominations 2020

The winners of this year’s Barry Awards were to be announced during the Virtual Presentation in conjunction with the Bouchercon World Mystery Convention in Sacramento, California on October 15, 2020. Sadly the convention was cancelled due to Covid-19 concerns. 

The nominees were chosen by panels of experts in mystery/crime fiction.  Here are the names of the nominating panelists:

George Easter, Larry Gandle, Maggie Mason, Kristopher Zgorski, Oline Cogdill, Mike Bursaw, Don Longmuir, Kris Schorer, Steele Curry, Donus Roberts, Ali Karim, Jeff Popple

They are all very well read and have decades-long experience in mystery fandom.

The readers/subscribers of Deadly Pleasures Mystery Magazine will determine by vote who wins each category. If you are a reader/subscriber, please send me your votes right away (to but no later than September 15, 2020.  The awards will be shipped to the winners.
